Gucci Group Sponsors a PhD Scholarship
Gucci Group has partnered with Central Saint Martins to sponsor a PhD Scholarship that will explore the potential of new technology in response to sustainability in the context of fashion and textiles.
Believing that cutting edge design, science and material innovation are the key to developing new methods and processes to help in the future of manufacturing and luxury brands’ understanding of environmental concerns, the Gucci Group’s scholarship is aimed at promoting creativity and innovation.
To be hosted by Central Saint Martins and supported by Textile Futures Research and Consultancy (TFRC), at the University of the Arts London, the scholarship will be informed by expertise from specialist practitioners and researchers including fashion designer Suzanne Lee and scientist Dr David Hepworth.
