Now let’s relax and have fun for the Gucci Women Cruise 09 Collection-the 70s’ vividness and elegance.

Gucci Women Cruise 09 Collection launched in Rome to celebrate the company’s 70th anniversary. Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, created an extraordinary ambience of light, warmth and luxury with black and white backdrop painted with Italian street scene which made the models walked down on the runway as if they came across from the real street. This collection is part of the inauguration of Gucci’s 21st century design concept in combination with Gucci iconic elements and new era style.

This collection is boasting about the printed silk long dress. The strapless Nectar Wunder silk gown on the left is made of chiffon printed with stripe and exotic pattern. The brown dress embroidered with small flowers is Avana side drape gown. The prices are $10600 and $8300 respectively, as stunning as the dresses.

These two pieces are my favorite in Gucci Women Cruise 09 Collection -Baltic Wunder silk gown and Sky Azure Wunder silk gown. They are both made from light blue chiffon printed with black or dark blue ribbons and flora patterns. I especially appreciated the one on the right. The model in the picture presented the smoothness and softness of the dress in a perfect gesture. The golden Four-leaf clover on the chest is eye-catching and adds special ethical flavor of North Ireland. They are also tagged with astonishing price at $10450 and $7995. Actually they haven’t been sold online yet even in Gucci official site.

The steps of fashion never stop and renaissances of previous designs happen every day. Movers and shakers in the luxury industry are meticulously keeping the balance of innovation and tradition. It is In the Women Cruise 09 Collection that Gucci shows the ambition and determination to continue the leading position in the new century.
